• She was kidnapped when she was only four. Said kidnappers took her to a lab and knocked her unconscious.
  
• When she came to, she was ten years old. And, her appearance had changed.
  
• The scientists/kidnappers/whatever put her under countless tests and stuff.
  
• When she turned thirteen, she accidentally blew up the laboratory. Due to her luck, she remained unscathed.
  
• A year of wandering allowed her to acquire a Tepig as a companion. She used her wonderful naming skills to name him.
